The young bridesmaids' dresses were handmade in Kent by childrenswear designer Nicki Mcfarlane and her daughter Charlotte. The girls' names are embroidered into the lining.

    Prince Charles, who has been the Admiral of the Royal Navy since 2006, wears the Royal Navy Number One Dress (Ceremonial) uniform to the wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall wears an embroidered silk dress and blue and ivory coat by Anna Valentine. Her hat is by Philip Treacy and the shoes from Jimmy Choo.

    Prince William wore the Irish Guards Mounted Officer’s uniform in Guard of Honour Order. Clarence House points out that he chose not to wear a sword. Prince Harry wore the uniform of Captain of the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals).

Known for her love of fashion, Eugenie made a daring choice with a vibrant blue patterned blazer and layered billowing skirt by Vivienne Westwood topped with an equally daring hat.

    Known for her sartorial flare, the Prime Minister's wife wore a teal Burberry shift dress with elaborate pleats. Keeping with the season's colour blocking, she accessorised with an orange shawl, necklace by Erickson Beamon for Erdem, nude T-strap heels and clip, also from Erdem, in her hair.
